Pauline Armstrong

Pauline Armstrong always possessed an inbuilt instinctive appreciation of beauty. Passionate about art since early school years, like many artists she was.unable to pursue her passion fulltime until conditions allowed.

When she gave up working in 2000 she started painting again, prolifically. She attended art classes, entered art exhibitions, and painted until 2015, when illness made it difficult for her to continue painting. She passed away February 27th  2020.
Pauline painted a wonderful diversity of subjects, from florals to birdlife to landscapes and semi-abstracts. She left a legacy of art created out of love, care, and attention to detail. Our condolences to Paulines family.
We wish to honour Paulines memory and pay tribute to our fellow Pokeno artist. Several of Paulines pieces will be on sale at the exhibition.
Pauline was such a prolific artist she left a huge body of work. Her husband Trevor Armstrong will be holding an art sale of Paulines work on November 13th at
18 Canmore St. Pokeno. Art sale starts at 9am.
